About Me

Hello! Welcome to Nadine Garza Photography! First off I am so happy that you are here. I hope you enjoy my photos and possibly book with me.

Writing about me pages is probably the hardest thing to put together because its like I forget what 'about me' means and I blank. But here we go. (also my website building skills are on the low end, bare with me)

I am a momma to Ishmael Ray and a crazy loving wife to my husband Ismael! (I try to be loving). I was born and raised in a small town outside of El Paso, TX #ElPasoStrong. There you will find the best Mexican food around! My husband will tell you how picky I am with it! I have always loved photos and the concept of cameras, but I never pursued it like I have recently. A couple of years ago my husband got me a Polaroid camera and it just went from there. I loved capturing precious moments with it. Then came my son Ishmael and then I seriously couldn't get enough. I wanted to take pictures of every moment and not miss a thing. Becoming a mom was the best thing in the world to me. Pregnancy, giving birth, nursing, changing diapers. I truly am embracing it all! I also love people and getting to know their stories! We all have one (or several). I have a passion for learning about peoples lives and how they navigate through this crazy amazing world we live in. I believe photography allows me to interact more with those stories and help people tell them. In Public health I developed a saying "There's a story behind every number", well there's a story behind every human too!
